Thank You, Memorial Day Heroes!

memorial-day-heroMemorial Day is a happy occasion for many, spending time with family and friends.  However for far too many, Memorial Day Weekend brings unspeakable pain. The mother of one of our fallen told me she would not be around for a few days; the pain is just too great. For the wives, husbands, moms, dads, children, and other family and friends who wish they could just go to sleep and wake up after this long weekend is over, it is to you I say thank you for raising, marrying, loving, and supporting your Hero, America’s Hero. More than ever, your Hero has my respect, you have my prayers and deepest heartfelt thoughts of respect and honor. Most Americans can not identify with your pain, heartbreak or the incredible emptiness that accompanies the loss of your loved one and one of America’s finest, but we can show our respect and our gratitude.

Let us as Americans reflect on that sacrifice and how because of it, we are a free people. Our Heroes have paid the ultimate price, given the most sacrificial gift–that of their very lives. Their families continue to live with pain that is so unspeakably raw that some of them simply want to be alone to reflect on the gift of the hero warrior they so loved and who was taken from them far too soon. As George Patton once said: “Thank God such men have lived.”

From my heart to yours, I will not forget your Warrior’s sacrifice, or yours. May God bless each of you and may you be comforted and strengthened.

“But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

She has campaigned for conservative candidates, supports the Wounded Warrior Project, and served on a Critical Incident Response Team assisting people in the aftermath of tragedies such as 9/11. Brenda believes our Constitution is disregarded as Progressives, through the Democrat Party, strive to establish Socialism in America. She also believes our national security is being threatened by radical Islam, which is infiltrating the highest levels of our government, financial and educational institutions. Brenda says just as President Reagan believed in 'peace through strength' she believes we need leadership in a Washington D.C. that believes in and supports that principle, as well as respect and protect the interests of our military members and their families. Brenda's father is a WWII Veteran, and she believes our military deserve our gratitude and respect. Brenda was born and raised in Kentucky and currently resides in Georgia.
