Big Game Hunting for RINOs

Beware RINOs. You are about to be put on the extinction list alongside the woolly mammoth and the dodo bird.

If the Real Conservative National Committee (Real CNC) has its way, RINOs (Republican In Name Only) will be as relevant as dinosaurs

According to Michael Patrick Leahy, Breitbart News contributor and co-founder of the Real CNC, the recently formed super PAC will not only challenge Republican establishment candidates for the House and Senate, but will defeat them as well.

“We are locked & loaded for some RINOs,” Leahy said.” “The GOP establishment needs an alliance with us, not the other way around.”

It didn’t take the Real CNC long to make good on its word. This week, the relatively new, super PAC announced their first target for defeat in the 2014 Republican primary election: Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander.

“Year after year, Sen. Alexander has failed to stand up for conservative principles in the Senate,” Leahy said.  “He supports President Obama’s efforts to kill the coal industry and he’s done nothing to repeal Obamacare.”

In the next several weeks, the Real CNC will reveal three incumbent House Republicans that will be on their hit list.

In the meantime, Leahy remains confident that the grassroots-based PAC will beat the Republican establishment despite having a big financial disadvantage. “The Real CNC is about to change the way the game is won when it comes to Republican primaries. The Republican establishment may have a monetary advantage but we have the ground game advantage.”

“We have the manpower and the technology. We have the grassroots organizations that will go door-to-door among Republican voters. We’re not going to wait for a conservative challenger to emerge before we build the get-out-the-vote infrastructure. When a conservative challenger emerges, he or she will know that there’s an independent conservative ground game effort that will help them win,” Leahy said.

“Door-to-door campaigning is much more effective,” Leahy said, “than expensive, ineffective TV advertising or those robo-calls that probably lost more votes than gaining any.”

“To tell you the truth, the Republican establishment is just too lazy to go knock on doors.” Leahy said. “We will use the power of canvassing using a mobile application to record information on the spot using a bubble phone and we will follow up.”

Overall, the Real CNC hopes to kick out up to 20 House Republican incumbents and retake the Senate with the help of Republican conversions possibly in Montana and West Virginia.

“Our challenge right now is not to select the winner of the horse race. Our challenge is to build a smooth racetrack so the consensus challenger will have a smooth path to victory.”

The Real CNC is basically on-message with Sarah Palin in regards to getting rid of the inside-the-beltway, political class and replacing cronyism with grassroots activism; a bottom-up strategy rather than top-down.

“The Republican establishment looks down their noses at conservatives like Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee and Sarah Palin,” Leahy said. “They take care of the donors, who are looking for access and are not really committed to limited government, Leahy said and added, “These are bad consultants who make bad TV ads and take 15% off the top and make big money.”

“Karl Rove has a lot of nerve naming his super PAC the Conservative Victory Project. That couldn’t be further from the truth. George Orwell is calling you Karl Rove,” Leahy said.

Conservative activists around the country on June 15 will do door-to -door canvassing to help conservative candidates challenge incumbent RINOs in the House and Senate in the 2014 Republican Primaries.

The Real Conservatives National Committee intends to change the way the Republican primary election game is played to give qualified, boat-rocking, conservatives like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Sarah Palin far better chances of defeating establishment Republicans.

The first goal is to remove the political, consultant class from the process of selecting and managing conservative candidates and replace them with a new political infrastructure powered with low-cost, state-of-the-art, voter contact technologies that draws its manpower from the largely volunteer conservative grassroots army that has sprung to life over the past four years and is now awaiting a path to victory.

This new political infrastructure will be created at a fraction of the cost of the stodgy, tired, expensive television advertising-driven campaigns of establishment Republicans that are managed by the political, consultant class.

• There will be no hiring Washington-based consultants to drive messaging and fundraising;
• There will be no spending of money on wasteful television commercials;
• There will be no focusing on needless and ineffective rallies and petitions;
• There will be local control to local groups’
• There will be respect to local organizations and groups;
•  There will be provisions for local groups needing resources, unlike Washington-based groups that take resources from them;
• There will be added value to local groups. Washington-based organizations subtract value from local groups.
