Politi-Tricks – The Left’s Mastery of Lies
By now we’re all used to it. On a daily basis we watch our culture deteriorate, morals crash and our country’s political health become crippled. More fascinating still is watching as the left paints a utopian-esque picture of it all. We’re moving ‘forward’ as long as we continue to give power to the government hand over fist. Even more shocking are the crowds cheering as we make a kings court of our political arena. Who would’ve thought that free people would come to view liberty as antiquated?
I know the path to hell is paved with good intentions but we are so far beyond that. The assault-style trickery from the Left is no longer about anything ‘good’. It has instead become purposeful fraud. And, it’s working. To believe abortion is “female liberty”, and nothing more than an unwitting person’s choice, is akin to believing the candy gained by a child is worth meeting the pedophile. The Left has become as successful as any group in history at convincing the masses of such repugnant ‘tolerances’.
And the Left’s influence is everywhere. The liberal dogma and rhetoric infects every segment of society, raising its ugly head like weeds in even the most tended gardens. Easter Sunday sermons are not safe from iconoclastic, superfluous rants on completely fabricated events. Obama’s Easter service, led by Episcopalian pastor Rev. Dr. Luis Leon, included an opportunistic and absurd rant, saying: “It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back…for blacks to be back in the back of the bus…for women to be back in the kitchen…for immigrants to be back on their side of the border”.
Unbelievable. Regardless of anyone’s feelings about the church preaching politics, let’s just start by asking for some accuracy. While the typical liberal rogue emotions work well to inflame its audience, it’s no excuse for catapulting a Sunday sermon into ‘ignis fatuus’. Though an improvement from the ‘G-d Damn America’ gospel of Obama’s past, liberal theology is a dangerous ghost-light.
There is no one anywhere on the right even intimating that blacks should sit in the back of the bus, or legal immigrants should be sent anywhere. The suggestion was trite and heavy with inverted bigotry. And I still don’t understand the slight intended by Rev. Leon in having a mother and wife in the home. I’m no theologian, but I am certain that Christ did not say, ‘Go, and make sandwiches no more.’ The culture war against wives and mothers is baffling. But the war against her in the church is contemptible.
As easy as it is for liberals to lie and exaggerate – it’s not as easy for all conservatives to be as candid with the truth. Constitution loving Black Chamber of Commerce CEO Harry Alford explained (with some hesitancy) in an interview with The Daily Caller that Obama ‘is getting borderline communist’. While he spoke fluidly about his disappointment with the president, there still seems to be a relative amount of discomfort in using the word ‘communist’ and other harsh truths about our culture and government. It should instead flow from the lips of every patriot without fear of retribution. Oh, retribution will come from the Left, we just shouldn’t fear it! They hate us anyway. So who cares?
The move through ‘progressive change’ has been done by the most awe-inspiring music, but the dance has been crafty and deceptive. The ways of liberalism are a snare and a trap. The redefining of our culture, the remaking of words and their definitions are all part of a purposeful deceit. The Left owns not only the American language but also its meaning. You are a bigot if they say so, and they always say so.
Liberalism is not simply an alternative way of thinking or an ideology. It is not progress. It is a destructive, powerful and satanic system. It is the very same wickedness that existed at the dawn of mankind with Cain and Abel. It is the same evil that desired the head of John the Baptist. There is no good intention, hidden or otherwise in describing in a positive light the destruction of family, the tolerance of perversion and the building of the government temple.
