(A Facebook friend–aka PC police–pointed out that I should say “alleged terrorists” until the remaining Islamist has had a trial. With hesitation, I am doing so now, but only because I still believe in due process…A-MM)
Because the liberal spin-machine is on full cycle—trying to water down the (alleged) Islamic Jihadists who bombed our country this week–I need to address people who are starting to go on Conservative Facebook and Twitter pages (like mine) and propagate against Christianity.
The liberal woman who drove me to write this has a Facebook cover photo with an Aristotle quote: “Avoid criticism. Do nothing. Say nothing. Be nothing.”
So despite it being a beautiful Saturday afternoon, I’m definitely going to “say something” about the anti-Christianity rants occurring throughout the Conservative social networking community today.
Of course this is nothing more than a diversion tactic; a sparkly, shiny thing they’re using to take attention away from our latest (alleged) Islamic terrorist attack. However I do want to address one especially idiotic statement that this woman wrote on my page because I’ve seen similar messages on other Conservative pages:
I have supposedly Christian friends and acquaintances who are even more judgmental that Muslims I know. These Christians are intolerant, tell non-believers they are going to hell, and constantly quiz them as to whether they have ‘found Christ’ or ‘know Christ.’ It’s offensive. The missionary mentality is and has been one of dominance, manipulation, fear-mongering, and bigotry. Whole populations have been squashed into submission until they agree to accept ‘Christ as their Lord and Savior.’ Are you going to tell me that nowhere in the Bible does it say to kill non-Christians? Are you going to tell me that nowhere in the Bible does it say that masses of missionaries need to travel to foreign countries and coerce the natives into changing their religion? If you are going to tell me that, then please explain how it has been possible over the centuries that such a ‘peaceful’ and ‘loving’ religion such as Christianity caused Europeans to bludgeon ‘infidels’ into submission?
As usual, the only weapon this woman has in her Stupid Box is evangelism and the Crusades.
The Crusades took place between 1095 & 1291–get over it. No matter which passages might be in the Bible, Christianity–in the Real World of 2013–does not condone killing non-believers in any way whatsoever. The opposite is true.
However the Quran, in 2013, absolutely does encourage Muslim followers to kill all Infidels today–not thousands of years ago.
Follow this link to read a few dozen or so verses that are most popular with Islamic terrorists today: http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/koran.html
Yes, Christians believe there are clear paths to both Heaven & Hell—but they are not instructed to kill anyone who doesn’t believe this. And yes, many Muslims don’t believe in killing non-believers and are good, decent people; but as long as there are millions of Islamic Jihadists who do follow the Quran as instructed, believing it is their duty to kill all non-believers today, in 2013, we in America are fools to continually ignore their threats! We’ve seen this first hand in our own country too many times to look the other way & pretend there isn’t a problem here. A few recent attacks & attempts on American here & abroad by Islamic Terrorists: 9/11/2001; 9/11/2012; Fort Hood; Benghazi; Shoe bomber; Time Square bomber; Boston Marathon bombing…etc.
There will always be crazy insane murderers in the world; Aurora, Sandy Hook were done by crazy insane murderers who would’ve killed any way they were able. But these crazy, insane murderers were not instructed by any religion to do what they did. They just did it, because they were/are crazy.
Islamic Jihadists are not crazy in this same sense; they take very seriously the many Quran passages that instruct them to kill non-believers. And that’s exactly what the two Islamic Jihadist Boston terrorist men (not calling them “young boys” the way the MSM is today) allegedly did in Boston this week.
