A Few Progressive Headlines This Easter

The Obamas Go To Church! Wait, What?
During Easter services many of us sat in our church pews and listened to the message of a special love Jesus must have had for us all to give his life for our sins.
On the other hand, President Barack Obama’s choice of message was:
“It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back … for blacks to be back in the back of the bus … for women to be back in the kitchen … for immigrants to be on their side of the border,” Leon said. He said the message of Easter was about the “proclamation of victory, the victory of powerful love over loveless power.”
Reverend Dr. Lois Leon of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington is no stranger to making controversial left wing statements such as this. In 2010 Rev. Leon compared Rush Limbaugh and Fox News to the KKK. (Obviously liberal college professors taught him because clearly he does not remember that the party of the KKK was in fact the Democrats…)
This should be no surprise to any of us who have known about the radical side of Obama and his choice of mentors, including religious “leaders” like Dr. Leon and Rev. Jeremiah Wright. As my friend Erik Rush exposed Jeremiah Wright to the millions watching during the 2008 elections, President Obama seems to have a need to surround himself by “religious leaders” who instead of preaching the Bible from their pulpit instead like to preach more of liberal politics. Where is the IRS on this one?
Seriously Inappropriate Google Doodle
Instead of representing the Easter holiday on their cover page, this year Google promoted… Caesar Chavez? The co-founder of the United Farm Workers Union, Chavez never supported illegal immigration or what he called “strike breakers”. Chavez has also been referenced as a socialist and fascists for his political ideology. Google’s last reference of Easter was during the year 2000 with a picture of an egg. When you do a Google search for “Jesus” for their “doodle” page it actually produces zero results; yep, nada, nothing. It is no secret that Google CEO is a staunch supporter and friend of the Obama administration so this should come as no surprise. However, the “Google doodle” has created quite an outrage with Christians who suggested that maybe Google could have offered an option for who they wanted to see on their search engine page. Google has provided this before with other doodles, so why not this day? By the way, the honor of Chavez to be remembered every March 31st was Obama’s idea in 2011. Maybe this was a favor to the new labor secretary?
Obama’s April Fools Joke? Nope, It’s Real…
On April 1, President created an “initiative” called “National Financial Capability” for the month of April. Seriously? The president who has yet to produce a budget (required by law but seemingly irrelevant to this administration) is going to teach students and tax payers about the importance of living by a budget? Seriously? President Obama states, “My Administration is dedicated to helping people make sound decisions in the marketplace.” Sorry to repeat myself, but seriously? The same President who is responsible for spending over $6 trillion dollars in his first term is going to lecture us on keeping a budget? That seems more hypocritical that a cruel April Fools joke, does it not?
“Together, we can prepare young people to tackle financial challenges,” Obama said, “from learning how to budget responsibly to saving for college, starting a business, or opening a retirement account”. Seriously? How about getting out of the way with your big Government ideology and more regulations and let the capital system do its work and build the economy so that our graduates can find a job!
The Award for “WTH” Goes To…….
Recently in the sunny state of Florida, lawmakers had the distinct pleasure (extreme sarcasm here) to listen to the Planned Parenthood representative Alisa LaPolt Snow try to rationalize why it would be acceptable to not provide lifesaving service to an infant born despite an abortion attempt. Is it just me, or is there something terribly wrong with anyone who would consider late term abortion or post abortion as an acceptable practice? Don’t get me wrong, I believe abortion of any kind is wrong—but how can any human being justify the practice of post abortion killing? This should be considered nothing less than infanticide and for Ms. Snow to give vague excuses for how horrific the mere thought of supporting such a crime is beyond conceivable for me. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the thought process of liberals. Yet if you ask one of them, it’s the conservatives who want to kill Grandma…
