Toure’, Carrey and Freeman…Oh My!

Lion_Tin-Man_ScarecrowYes, I went there! That is exactly what I have concluded when I continue to read and view anything related to Toure’.  His latest attacks on Dr. Benjamin Carson are just one example of a hypocritical ranting against black conservatives.  I guess for Toure’, if you happen to be black in this country, you should automatically be in lockstep with his brand of liberal mindset.

Toure’ went on a rant recently on his MSNBC show against Dr. Carson:

“Carson is a brilliant medical thinker but he’s got intellectual tumors like a flat tax, which is regressive, and ignorant in the face of wealth inequality where the top 1% own 35% and the bottom 60% own 2.3%. I doubt Jesus would tax them equally. Just as I doubt the GOP would entertain a white non-politician with unserious ideas. But Carson has joined the GOP’s version of affirmative action, where blacks that can speak conservative game get raced to the front of the line because then people get to put a bumper sticker on their car that say, ‘How could I be racist? I would have voted for Carson!’ Which would fit nicely over the bumper sticker saying, ‘How could I be racist? I would have voted for Cain?’ Which fit nicely over the bumper sticker saying, ‘How could I be racist? I would have voted for Allen West!’”

There is more to this mindless dribble, but I won’t subject you to any more MSNBC torture.  Basically, according to Toure’ (aka Sharpton, Jr.), the party of the KKK, abortion, anti-civil rights, etc. is a much better option than to consider yourself a conservative?  At CPAC, Dr. Carson talked about being held accountable for your actions; working hard in life, and making sacrifices to be successful.  Somehow these concepts are not only deemed unworthy of compliments or praise from a liberal, but are instead worth contempt and the spewing of ignorance. Okay, glad Toure’ clarified that for those of us who actually agree with Dr. Carson and respect him for him choices and opinions.

MSNBC has become nothing more than a machine for liberal propaganda. The criteria for their viewers is that anyone who could be seen for the quality of their individual character is nothing more than a racist at heart or a traitor of the liberal plantation.  It is terrifying to say the least, that there are actually people who would agree with Toure’, despite the great life accomplishments of men like Carson, Allen West and Herman Cain. What positive changes can Toure’ say he has been a part of?

Then there’s Jim Carrey…yet another stunning example of a Hollywood elitist liberal espousing how gun rights advocates are rural idiots. Carrey’s satirical attempt to allude to the viewers that Charleston Heston did not make it to heaven seems a bit shallow, since Heston is no longer alive to defend himself.  I suppose anyone who believes that those who like country music and live in rural areas are also too illiterate to understand how wrong it is to own a firearm. One thing I didn’t notice in this humorless, talentless excuse for a message is the satire on gang violence in Chicago–or better yet in Hollywood movies.

Carrey, like Toure’ and other liberal elitist that use attacks and personal jabs to try and make their points fail to realize those efforts do nothing more than empower conservatives and gun owners. Maybe Carrey will understand when the impact hits his wallet, although I can’t remember the last time he was in a movie that was worthy of noting his performance or paying the ticket price to waste two hours of my life I would never be able to recover.

The other day my seventeen year old and I were watching television when a trailer of the newest from Hollywood played. The movie stars Morgan Freeman. My son said, “Would you go see that movie?” and my response was, “No, not with Morgan Freeman in it.”  When my son asked why, I explained and then showed him some articles on my computer where Morgan Freeman called people who believe in less government racists.

We as conservatives must take a stance and show our children and grandchildren how our voice can be heard. If we don’t then the liberals will win and their future will most certainly lose.  They will have us to blame for that!
