Salmon vs. Matt Salmon

Salmon is good for you. It’s a great source of protein, and is packed with heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids. It’s so beneficial to your health that The American Heart Association recommends eating it at least twice a week.
Arizona Representative Matt Salmon is also good for you.
This week Rep. Salmon committed to vote against House rules on specific bills that do not uphold conservative principles. This is not only beneficial to your health and well being, it will work wonders toward getting our economy back on track and reduce the size and scope of government. I am not a Doctor, but I strongly recommend you get a good dose of what this amazing Representative from Arizona’s 5th District is serving up.
Salmon published an Op-Ed in The Washington Times on March 11, titled “It’s time to break some rules in Congress”. Rep. Salmon’s article basically draws a line in the sand, saying, “Stop the Spending. Stop the Pandering. Stop the Insanity.”
Salmon is back for his second round in Congress. He was originally elected a member of The House back in 1994, and served for three terms. He had made a promise to limit his service, but after the debacle known as Obamacare was passed, he felt the need to return to fight to restore our Republic. He now serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and as Chairman of the Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere. He also serves on the House Committee on Education and the Workforce.
I highly recommend you check out Rep. Matt Salmon’s Facebook page. Tell him how thrilled you are that he is going to bat for us, for our children and grandchildren.
As his namesake struggles to swim upstream, Matt struggles every day against a leadership that is often too timid to take a stand and/or too scared to make waves and perhaps too invested in their own political future to make the tough decisions. Representative Salmon is dedicated to doing what is right, even though it may not be easy. He states his “allegiance will always be to the Constitution and the American people first and foremost, not to my political party.”
How good does that sound? How appetizing? Forget about Grilled Ginger Salmon or Crispy Almond Salmon Cakes. I’ll take my Salmon direct from Arizona. Fresh. Fired up. I know that is without a doubt the best thing I can do right now for my health, my sanity, and my peace of mind.
