Rage Against the Dying of our Rights
In the latter months of 2012, I saw government work against everything we hold near and dear. I witnessed the shredding of our rights. All of them. I am disgusted with our representatives on both sides of the aisle, sickened with the level of dysfunction and corruption that the ruling elite has so blatantly displayed. The recent gun grabbing legislation by my traitorous Senator, Dianne Feinstein, is the icing on the cake. The pay raises they tried to give themselves for their ineptitude and disservice to our freedoms is morally evil and reprehensible in the midst of our national debt and recession. These people truly are pigs at the trough!
The lying and complicit mainstream media is just as bad. Instead of speaking out against the tyrannical schemes of our government, they have successfully moved ‘forward’ their evil agenda of destroying our basic rights and our ability to defend ourselves.
Statistics have shown that violent gun crime has gone down by half since the 1990’s. Yes you read that correctly; the fear mongering about guns and the agenda to remove our 2nd Amendment Rights granted by our Founding Fathers has superseded truth telling. Everyone who knows me knows that I am pro-gun–in the right hands. I take precautions, and have taken courses such as “Armed and Safe”. I have even applied for my own CCW permit. I honestly believe an armed citizen in Sandy Hook or the Aurora Colorado theater would have prevented much bloodshed.
Just before Christmas I watched on Fox News the “grand re-opening” of the theater in Aurora. Invitations had been sent to all of the victims’ families and I thought, where has common sense gone? Who originally thought this was a good idea? But these same mental midgets must be cut from the same cloth as most of our reps in DC. Taking our guns away because of a Sandy Hook or theater shooting is just as insulting and idiotic as asking bereaved parents to sit in the same room where their loved ones had been murdered.
Regarding guns and gun owners in the U.S.:
Most estimates range between 39% and 50% of US households having at least one gun (that’s about 43-55 million households). The estimates for the number of privately owned guns range from 190 million to 300 million. Removed those that skew the stats for their own purposes the best estimates are about 45% or 52 million of American households owning 260 million guns).
Some recent estimates:
- A 2011 Gallup poll estimates that 47 percent of US households own a gun.
- A 2007 Small Arms Survey estimates there are 88.7 guns per 100 Americans (#1 in the world for guns per capita)
- A 2010 estimate from the NRA states “Privately owned firearms in the U.S.: Approaching 300 million, including nearly 100 million handguns. The number of firearms rises over 4 million annually.”
These statistics are probably drastically different now because folks have been running to the gun stores to purchase everything they think will be banned, so the real numbers have yet to be seen.
Conspiracy-leaning websites are saying that the military has a plan to disarm the public. According to InfoWars:
“The blueprint for how Americans would be disarmed during a declared civil emergency is contained in an Army manual that outlines a plan to confiscate firearms to prevent them falling into the hands of rioters or dissidents.”
Given the imminent introduction of Senator Dianne Feinstein’s draconian gun control legislation, which would instantly criminalize millions of gun owners in the United States if passed, concerns that the Obama administration could launch a massive gun confiscation effort have never been greater.
The document outlines how military assets will be used to “help local and state authorities to restore and maintain law and order” in the event of mass riots, civil unrest or a declaration of martial law.On page 20 of the manual, rules regarding the use of “deadly force” in confronting “dissidents” are made disturbingly clear with the directive that a, “Warning shot will not be fired.”
“Restrictions on the sale, transfer, and possession of sensitive material such as gasoline, firearms, ammunition, and explosives will help control forces in minimizing certain forms of violence,” states the document on page 40.”
If true, this tells me there are to be no rules of engagement against citizens; no warning shots will be fired! The Department of Homeland Security has been labeling regular citizens’ terrorists for some time now; go to the DHS website and check it out for yourself. If you are Christian, pro-life, ex -military, ex- police, you really are considered a potential terrorist by DHS. The Muslim Brotherhood visits the White House multiple times weekly, and yet those of us who work, pay taxes and try to eke out a living are the new ‘threats’.
All of this is a UN agenda and UN mandated “gun grab” and the way I understand it is they want to take our guns under the guise of ‘preventing war’. The only ones who will have guns are going to be the UN soldiers.
I, for one, will not comply. I am reminded of a poem by Dylan Thomas:

Please take the time to watch this second video; it includes footage of Hurricane Katrina when our military confiscated regular American citizen’s guns (aka “not criminals”). This happened for weather-related purposes so just imagine what they will do when given what they deem “legitimate” reasons to invade our homes and yes, take our guns.
