Haters, Sperm Donors and Condoms—Oh My!
Lately I have been overloaded with insane articles. Here’s a recap of some of the craziest in the past few weeks.
CATHOLICS ARE HATERS!
The White House has a petition trying to ban the Catholic Church. The reason for the ban is because the church is being considered a “hate group”.
Yes, you read that correctly – a hate group for standing with and supporting the church’s position on homosexuality.
If that’s the case, then a petition to ban Islam should be sent to the White House because according to an Iranian cleric, their position on homosexuals is that they (quote) “are inferior to dogs and pigs…” and homosexuality is considered a “crime punishable by God…”. So on that note, they should both be banned.
Of course I’m just kidding, because in my book (aka the Constitution), people have a right to worship as they please in this country whether I agree with them or not. Yes, the Bible teaches that homosexual behavior is wrong, but Jesus told us to love the sinner but hate the sin.
CRAIG’S LIST: SPERM WANTED
A lesbian couple, who had a child from a sperm donor, are now the parents of a three year old child. Apparently the couple ran into financial difficulties, and the donor was reported to the state of Kansas as the father. Now the state of Kansas is suing for child support. Unfortunately, instead of going through a special clinic for sperm donors, the couple involved placed an ad on Craigslist looking for someone willing to donate sperm and the donor complied. (That whole scene sounds like something from SNL…) The “father” in question donated his sperm for free instead of taking the offered payment of $50.00. This will be interesting to follow.
MONEY IS EVIL! (UNLESS IT’S OURS…)
In the midst of fiscal cliff-diving and talks of ‘evil millionaires and billionaires, the government gets a raise— and who will be paying for it? You and me. (If this is a nightmare, wake me when it’s over…) In the midst of all the debates about the fiscal cliff and how the country can’t afford it, Obama decides to enact another executive order (139th to be exact) giving his cohorts a raise. Very soon after he did this, Obama and his family left for their $4 million vacation. Who is paying for these raises? I’ll let you decide as you count how much money you have for food and gasoline.
Side note: Huffington Post writer, Amanda Terkel, writes a great article about how this is the worst congress since the 1940’s. Yeah, I know, Huff Post!
YOU CAN CALL ME CUTE (BUT I DON’T GIVE OUT FREE COMDOMS)
A 9-year-old child called his teacher, “CUTE” and got himself in some pretty hot water. The class had a substitute teacher that day and she overheard the boy’s conversation pertaining to another teacher. The boy was charged with sexual harassment and suspended for two days.
I guess it all depends on what you think is morally insulting—such as the 22 Philadelphia high schools that are getting condom dispensing machines for free.
The reason for the condoms is to “prevent sexual disease”. Great point, but how about teaching abstinence, commonly called self-control? (I actually wanted to write something else here but instead I exercised my own self-control…)
What I’ve learned from the left is that I can say whatever I want and won’t be called a racist, old-fashioned, or any other names– as long as I agree with you.
AL GORE HAS PUBLICLY SOLD HIS SOUL TO THE DEVIL. LITERALLY.
Al Gore sold his small time TV news network, Current TV,to Al Jazeera for approximately $40 million.
Yes, this is the same group of people who hate Americans. Thankfully, Time Warner Cable says it will “cancel all shows and its contract” so it won’t have to show their propaganda.
HELLO, VOTER FRAUD?
Finally, this isn’t based on any crazy articles but is just my opinion. I am still not convinced Obama is legal but I believe the truth will come out in the end. I believe he was elected due to fraudulent votes and the vast majority of Americans know this.
Do you ever wonder what God thinks of all this madness? Sometimes I wonder if He’s thinking, “What the %$# are they doing?”
Seriously, we need to pray, reload, reboot, and fight.
