The 20 Dictatorial Chains That Bind Us

Michelle Obama on the Tom Joyner Morning Show on October 3, 2012:

“Well, we’re understanding that, you know, you can have a president you love, but if you don’t have a congress that’s willing to work, you know, you wind up stalled in so many ways; and I think that Barack has done a phenomenal job working around a Congress that has never been willing to help move the country forward on so many different issues.  But I think he’s done everything humanly possible to get things passed around the margins.  But, you know, just imagine where this country will be when we have Barack Obama as President and we have a Congress that’s ready to work hand-in-hand, and willing to compromise to make sure that this country moves forward for everyone.”

Yes, imagine where this country will be if Barack Obama is re-elected.  Imagine having a Congress who is willing to help move the country forward on so many different issues with Barack Obama as President.  Imagine Barack Obama being willing to continue to do everything humanly possible to get things passed around the margins.  Imagine having Barack Obama as President and having a Congress that’s ready to work hand-in-hand with him.  Imagine compromise with President Barack Obama.

God forbid!

As Lars Larson said on Fox News, America Live: “You can’t even count the number of things [Obama] has done to act like a king…..All Hail, King Obama.  Listen, the fact is the president is effectively saying to Americans, I don’t need no stinking checks and balances. If I decide the Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional, I don’t need the Supreme Court.” He concluded: “You can’t even count the number of things this man has done to act like a king.”
