Liberals Unhinged

As an outspoken Conservative, I’ve been called just about every name in the book, from ‘hater’ to ‘racist’ to ‘bigot’. Sticks and stones, I’m use to it by now. I’ve even recently had a Liberal seek me down online, just to tell me I should be the poster child for abortion. Nice, huh?

I always find it interesting when those who preach the ‘gospel of tolerance’ tend to be the least tolerant of us all. In fact, some Liberals can surprisingly be downright mean and hateful.

And as the election draws closer, we are seeing some Liberals becoming more and more unhinged.

Mitt Romney and his supporters have been receiving more hateful and threatening attacks from Liberals as Romney ‘edges upward’ in recent polls.

Actress Stacey Dash has gotten a taste of the attacks herself in recent days. After tweeting her public endorsement for Mitt Romney, her twitter account blew up into a firestorm. Dash tweeted:

“Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney,” Dash wrote on her official Twitter page, accompanied by a photo of herself with an American flag.

According to The Blaze:  “Obama supporters began insulting Dash for her opinion, saying she isn’t ‘black’ enough, several even asking if the actress would just ‘kill herself.’

One man wrote: ‘This hurts but you a Romney lover and you slutting yourself to the white man only proves why no black man married u @REALStaceyDash.’

As news of Dash’s treatment spread, however, First Amendment-lovers nationwide began voicing their support for the actress using the hashtag #ISupportStaceyDash.”

But, it doesn’t just end with the nasty tweets and the ugly emails to beautiful actresses. There are Obama supporters who have also been stealing, vandalizing, urinating, and even defecating on pro-Mitt Romney yard signs and cars with Romney bumper stickers, all across the country.

From the Washington Times:

“A conservative radio host based in central Virginia, has posted a video on his website of a GOP office with its window smashed in, expletive-laced rants presumably delivered at Republicans, and Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan signs torn down, defaced and smeared with what appears to be human excrement

The clip (prefaced with a warning of “extremely graphic content”) on the “Schilling Show” blog, written by radio host Rob Schilling, begins with President Obama on the campaign trail telling attendees to “argue with them and get in their face,” a phrase he used in 2008 to encourage his supporters to talk to friends and neighbors about voting and accurately delivering his message, whether they were Republican or independent.”

Intimidating, isn’t it? Whatever happened to us all “coexisting” as the Liberal bumper stickers suggest?

I just ordered a Romney Girl bumper sticker (from cafepress.com) to show my own support for the Mitt Romney but now, I’m actually a little afraid to put it on my car. I shouldn’t have to feel this way. This is America where “Free Speech” is supposed to be embraced, no matter what side we are on. Unfortunately, “Free Speech” is certainly embraced… as long as some of us keep our opinions to ourselves.

In Indian River County, Florida:

“ Bernie Ceilley was loading up his Mitt Romney presidential campaign signs about 30 days sooner than he expected Monday.

During the weekend, a vandal cut out the center of the three “Romney/Ryan” signs the retiree had posted in Vero Beach, he said. Ceilley, who volunteers for the Republican Executive Committee of Indian River County, said he received a call to check out a fourth vandalized sign north on 17th Street on Monday morning.

“This is not freedom of speech by any means,” Ceilley said about the carved-up signs. “Some of the signs I found had been uprooted and tossed into the weeds.” 

I agree with Mr. Ceilley. This is absolutely shameful.

Some Obama supporters have also threatened riots if Romney wins the election. Here are some tweets reported by twitchy:

• “If Romney wins I’m Starting a Riot….Who’s WIT ME???” 
• “I Hope The USA Is Well Aware That If In The Event This Character Romney Wins The Election, The People Will Start A Country Wide Riot!”

• “I Heard Mitt Romney , Tryna Take Away Food Stamps , If He Do .”IMA START A RIOT , IMA START A RIOT” 
• “If Romney win Imma start riot!” 
• “If Romney is elected president, its gon be a riot its gon be a riot.”

Some Liberals on Twitter have even threatened to kill Mitt Romney. Of course, these tweets have been forwarded to the Secret Service already.

The Examiner reported:

“Late Sunday night, Todd Kincannon, a South Carolina attorney who served as the executive director of the South Carolina Republican Party, directed a number of tweets threatening Mitt Romney to the Secret Service Twitter account. Here is one of the tweets:

“I just wanna assassinate Romney… I hate him”

According to The Examiner, another person threatened to rape Ann Romney in a tweet forwarded to the authorities, while another threatened to snipe Romney if he wins the election.

The Examiner also stated:

“As we have reported since August, liberals on Twitter have repeatedly expressed a desire to murder Mitt Romney, while some have threatened those who intend to vote for the GOP nominee.

Liberals on Twitter have also called for the death of former Governor Sarah Palin, Governor Scott Walker and Donald Trump. Supreme Court Justices and Republicans in general have been similarly targeted.”

The Right has been repeatedly accused of “hate” and “violence” by the mainstream media and others the Left. The Right has had its multiple lectures on civility, and the Right has been proven to be peaceful time and time again.

So, perhaps some on the Left should now take good look in the mirror? Perhaps, Liberals should focus on keeping their own side under control? Just a thought.
