“If Obama Was My Mental Patient” by RN
Being a psychiatric RN for many years, I will tell you that our president does not have a major mental illness such as Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder. What he does have is even worse. Although I haven’t examined him personally, as an RN I have determined that he has a Pathological Narcissistic Personality Disorder with Sociopathic tendencies, thus the constant lying and the complete lack of remorse for anything, ever. He is much more dangerous when you combine this with his drug history.
Sadly, the likelihood of him ever sitting on any psychiatric couch is nil because he thinks he is just fine. These major personality disorders are very difficult to treat or overcome mainly because the patients do not believe there is anything wrong with them. They are fine–YOU are the problem.
BO’s history and admission of Poly-substance abuse doesn’t help him either. If anything, this makes him even more dangerous and possibly more lethal. Because of his history of self-medicating, it is more likely that he might need drug rehab and detox than going off the deep end and being admitted.
Narcissists are the ultimate posers. They can project a very grandiose image of themselves. Sam Vaknin, PHD is a Narcissist and an author of many books on the subject and considered an expert. In Vaknin’s own words, “what can be worse than having a man bereft of conscience, a serial liar, and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?” Vaknin says Clinton is a narcissist, and BO is a pathological narcissist. There is a huge difference.
Basically either type is about power and control, but pathological types will stop at nothing to achieve their ends. They will abuse you and call you crazy for not tolerating the abuse. They will use children as pawns, beat wives if they feel the need to gain control, or they will get a lawyer to beat you up for them.
Vaknin goes on to say, “No wonder Amhadinajad, Hugo Chavez, the Castrist’s, the Hezbollah, the Hamas, the lawyers of all the Guantanamo terrorists, and virtually all sworn enemies of America are thrilled by the prospect of their man in the White House.”
Because reality is intertwined with power mad fantasies and drug usage, BO’s pathology is even more dangerous and the lethality is even more deadly. He would never get better because he would never see a problem and would never see the need to change–therefore BO would, sadly, never be one of my mental patients.
