Democrat Attacks GOP for Omitting Sharia Law

After the Democrats took some heat for omitting God and then reinserting Him into their party platform at the DNC Convention, Democrat Keith Ellison (MN) attacked the GOP for banning Sharia Law from theirs.

“They’re demonstrating hatred toward Muslims,” Ellison said, claiming, “they are basically a bigoted party.”

The GOP stance on Sharia law is such: “Subjecting American citizens to foreign laws is inimical of the Spirit of the Constitution. There must be no use of foreign law by the United States courts in interpreting our Constitution and Laws.”

Therefore, the GOP is banning Sharia Law from being established in the United States (and as oppressive to women and children as Sharia is, this is a very good idea).

But Ellison argued, “There has never been legislation offered to establish Sharia law, not at the federal level, not at the state level.”

Brigitte Gabriel, Founder of ACT For America, responded to Ellisons’s claims:

 “We already have documented 51 cases of Sharia law used in the United States, in different states. The one very famous one I can share with you is the case in New Jersey last year, where a Muslim woman went to the judge asking for a protective order where her husband was raping her repeatedly and beating her up to four times a day. The judge told her that because her husband was a Muslim, on his belief, he did not believe he was committing a crime. To think that this was happening in the United States last year is unacceptable. No woman should be subjected to this. So, the reason why the Republican Party inserted that into their plank is because they are already seeing, there is already evidence. 51 cases have already documented. That’s too many. We don’t want Sharia Law in the United States.”

Gabriel defends that Republican Party as protecting women and children across the United States.

Noni Darwish, author of the book Cruel and Usual Punishment lived under Sharia in Egypt for thirty years. Everything about her life-family, sexuality, hygiene, business, banking, contracts, economics, politics, social issues, everything-was dictated by Sharia Law.

In her book, Darwish warns the United States: “The goal of radical Islam is to bring Sharia law to your country. If that happens, the fabric of Western law and liberty will be ripped in two. Under Sharia law, a woman can be beaten for talking to men who are not her relatives, or flogged not wearing a headdress, daughters, sisters, and wives can be legally killed by the men in their family, and certain kinds of child molestation are permitted.”

There have already been several cases of “honor killings, “documented in the United States.

So, while the Democrats continue to accuse the GOP of launching that imaginary “war on women,” the GOP is actually taking a bold stand to protect women, by preventing Sharia from becoming the law of the United States.
