GA VIP Senate Race: “Emily’s List” Backs Democrat Nunn

PolitiChicks.comThere is a heavy focus for this mid-term election season on all the open Senate races. November 2014 is anticipated to be the next example of a Democrat shellacking for Republicans to gain control of Congress. Locally, Georgia’s Senate race is becoming an important one for Democrats to win and their candidate Michelle Nunn is taking the gloves off and taking the advice of her campaign strategist to play hardball against her competition, David Perdue.

So far, Nunn (who is the daughter of former Georgia Senator Sam Nunn) surprised many with her performance at the recent debate held in Macon, Georgia against Perdue. Nunn quickly took the lead in immediate attacks (most unfounded) against Perdue’s history as a CEO in both Dollar General and Reebok, with the hopes that Perdue would be leery of becoming aggressive in his defense and come off as a bully as Nunn’s campaigned hoped for. That way Nunn could toe the line with the rest of the democratic base and claim a “war on women” was being waged. If one didn’t know better, it almost seems as though the Democrats and Nunn’s campaign are taking a strategy from the Obama playbook attacking Perdue as an out of touch CEO like they did with Mitt Romney and Bain Capital.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The latest backing for Michelle Nunn is the radical left wing Emily’s List who just funneled more than $1 million into Nunn’s campaign for television ads again attacking Perdue as a CEO. The latest ad that has yet to be released will focus on a class action lawsuit filed against Dollar General by female employees for wage disparity. What democrats are hoping is that people don’t pay attention to the fact the time Perdue was CEO was from 2003-2007 and the lawsuit (which Dollar General settled out of court) was filed after Perdue’s departure in 2007. Notice the pattern and similarity of Romney and Bain here folks?

If you’re unfamiliar with what Emily’s List represents, it is basically a site that promotes extreme progressive ideology and is heavily pro-choice. From the mission statement of the website:

By electing more pro-choice Democratic women to national, state and local office, EMILY’s List will consistently infuse our government with leaders who will drive change. Change that truly matters today, tomorrow and forever.

“EMILY’s List isn’t just about funding elections to get women elected. Our focus is on putting the right pro-choice Democratic women into office who will balance the face of the government, and make decisions that really improve societies across the country…”

Stephanie Schriock, President

It is certain that Democrats will do exactly what we are seeing now, which is regurgitate their strategy of 2012. This is all they have to run on since the American voters are living in a stagnant economy, Obamacare is unpopular, foreign policies are failing and Obama has a long list of scandals making his last two years in office more of the final scenes of the Titanic. Georgia is much more focused on solutions to our economic issues than abortions and free birth control.

Georgia voters, let us not forget that Michelle Nunn will not only carry the Democrat Party line but she will also ensure that Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will have free reign to further destroy our country with their failed economic policies and inaction in Congress. Right now Reid has over 300 bills sitting on his desk from House Republicans (some of these have bipartisan support) and Nunn’s senate win would mean she will vote right along with her Party at the cost of the American family. We can’t afford to allow Nunn to win! Georgia voters need to put a fresh outside perspective in the senate seat by electing David Perdue as their Senator!
