“Inventing Scandals”

Screen Shot 2014-05-10 at 8.43.03 AMLast week the House voted to hold Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress. For the first time in a long time, the House did its job. Have accounting print up a paycheck for one day’s work. This one they earned (although the rest of the days are debatable…).

The Democrats have returned fire by pointing fingers, subterfuge, smoke and mirrors. Suddenly they are worried about jobs, healthcare, and the public’s overall welfare. Their rallying cry is this is just another “drive by” for the upcoming elections and that the Republicans are merely “inventing scandals” to draw attention away from the real issues.

Things like Benghazi, the “invented scandal” that took four American lives. What an imagination they have.

The other caper from the funny papers was Fast and Furious.

It would be pleasant to not have the Democratic leadership relieving themselves down our backs and try to convince us that it is raining.  It does not take a genius to see how things have been covered up. The media isn’t helping in that they seem intent on not reporting anything of value. If irrefutable proof is on the table for the revealing, the media will run, not walk, the other way to avoid telling it to the public. This agenda is more important than performing the objective job of reporting.

In that, those who go along to get along in the media have violated the Journalist’s Creed, both wholly and in part.  These educated posers have forgotten the line that reads, “I believe that the public journal is a public trust, that all connected with it are, to the full measure of responsibility, trustees for the public, that all acceptance of lesser service than the public service is a betrayal of this trust.”

Among this tangled web of conspiracy, half-truths and lies is knowledge that is now readily available. Alternative news sources have popped up in the last six years providing insight to those who seek it. Therefore, public pressure has been applied to the powers that be to correct these situations.

The public has always suspected that the IRS was out of hand and held too much power and the actions against conservative groups have shown that all suspicions are indeed valid.

Other truths–four Americans were killed in our American embassy in Benghazi and Agent Brian Terry is dead as a result of the botched Fast and Furious Operation.

Despite the way the left is desperately trying to make the public believe otherwise, these are not fabricated scandals.  They are real–and trying to camouflage the truth with more divisive finger pointing is not going to change what happened.

The common enemy theory the Democrats are practicing is no longer working. The common enemy is not the Republicans, the Tea Party or the boogeyman:  the corruption within our government is the enemy.

This corruption must be routed, burned and sown with salt, eradicated from our land.  The American Public is waking up and make no mistake, it is war, and must be waged and won. Election Day 2014 is a great battlefield.
