He Murdered his Wife; Now Kosilek is Raping the Taxpayers of Massachusetts!

and_image_1359361118On May 20, 1990 Cheryl Kosilek a mother and volunteer counselor at a drug rehab was brutally murdered by her husband Robert Kosilek.  He wrapped wire around her neck and strangled her, then put her in the back seat of her car and parked it at a Mall in Attleboro, MA. Robert was found guilty of Murder in the 1st degree; along with extreme atrocity and cruelty, he was sentenced to life in prison.

However, Robert Kosilek has since legally changed his name to “Michelle” and claims he suffers from Gender Identity Disorder.   The Boston Globe reports that after many trials, 2 suicide attempts and an attempt at castration, Kosilek has been granted a sex change operation by Judge Mark Wolf in Boston, MA–at the expense of the taxpayers! The 8th amendment, which protects convicts, states, “Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.”

If the State of Massachusetts prevents Kosilek from having surgery they are in violation of the 8th amendment, more specifically the “nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted” part.  So I wonder what Cheryl was thinking on the day her husband was wrapping wire around her neck and strangling her to death…She probably felt like she was receiving cruel and unusual punishment, too–not from some stranger on the street that abducted her, but the man she was married to, the man she shared her heart with and the man she bore a child with.

This is beyond unfair to Cheryl Kosilek. She is now in a grave, her life cut short, her son left without a mother, her family left without her. She didn’t live long enough to see her son graduate from High School, go to college, get married and have children. Cheryl will never see another sunrise or sunset or plant flowers in the spring, enjoy the first day at the beach after winter, or indulge in her favorite meal. Why isn’t the Commonwealth of Massachusetts focusing on Cheryl instead of on Kosilek and his insane need to change identity?

The taxpayers are tasked with the responsibility of paying for the surgery which estimates range from $7,000-$50,000, plus the State Legal Fees which are about $700,000 to date.  Jennifer Levi, Director of Gay Lesbian Advocates and Defenders (GLAD), was very happy to hear the news last week that Kosilek will be having the surgery. So if they’re so happy about it, why can’t G.L.A.D. pick up the tab? Why should the taxpayers have to shoulder this responsibility when the advocacy groups out there are championing this as a “big win” for Kosilek? On behalf of the taxpayers, Judge Mark Wolf should insist that Kosilek pay for this himself or he cannot have the surgery.

Kosilek is a sick and depraved individual that has taken advantage of the laws provided to him. He not only murdered his wife but is now also raping the taxpayers. Maybe in his dark and twisted mind, Kosilek thinks if he becomes a new person it will wipe the memory away.  Maybe his nightmares of Cheryl’s eyes starting to pop out of her head while he was strangling her neck tighter and tighter might disappear.  Maybe after the surgery, when he closes his eyes at night he will stop hearing her cries and pleas for him to stop–but I doubt it. He will be an animal whether wearing pants or a skirt.
