STOP THE INSANITY!

stoptheinsanitySome of you have noticed how quiet I’ve been; I can assure you it’s not because I have nothing to say. In fact, quite the opposite – there is so much happening in our country,  I just don’t know where to start! How do you reconcile what is happening in our country at the moment? You can’t. Sadly, there are some who are finally waking up only to realize that it’s too late to do something about certain things.

How do you stand by and re-elect a President who not once, but twice presided over a downgrade in the US Credit Rating? How do you stand by and re-elect a President who is the first President in history to force Americans to purchase a product from a third party? Not only that, but the product in question in health care; the Obamacare bill had zero support from Republicans and even less support from the Americans it is being forced upon.

How do you stand by the first President in history to violate the War Powers Act? His actions in Libya were far beyond being ‘questionable’. Unfortunately, these examples are only the tip of the iceberg. I could list hundreds of ways the President has violated the Constitution, bypassed Congress by (unconstitutional) Executive Order, and/or spent money frivolously at taxpayers’ expense. He is the most absurd, anti-American, radically unconstitutional President in history.

But now, NOW… comes a historical turning point for our country. We actually had to have Congressional hearings to see whether the President had the power to drone American citizens on American soil or not. We actually have legislation (that failed, thank goodness; but is not likely dead) that was introduced that would drastically limit the 2nd Amendment – that would take away the rights of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves as they see fit.

And most recently we have terror attacks in Boston. It simply amazes me that this President doesn’t have the guts to say the words “Muslim Terrorists”. They are exactly that. We are at war with radical Muslims who want to wipe America off the face of the Earth. Like him or hate him, at least President Bush had the courage to call it what it is. Major Nidal Hasan is still sitting in a prison collecting his government wages, and even received a promotion and the Legion of Merit award after he murdered 14 Americans and wounded many more. His murderous rampage wents on all while he was shouting Allahu Akbar. Connections between Hasan and radical American-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki have been well-documented. All of this, yet the Obama Administration refuses to call it a terror attack, labeling it ‘workplace violence’. Well, I call BS on the PC.

Now, with the Boston Marathon bombing, we have 2 Muslim Chechens who clearly have links to Al Qaeda and who never should have been issued visas. Those links were ignored, the visas issued – and now 3 people and 1 police officer are dead and numerous others were seriously wounded at the hands of the 2 brothers who perpetrated the attacks. I am very glad the second bomber was taken alive so that he could be questioned about other attacks and to gather intelligence.

One thing is clear:  we are at war. We are at war with a culture that teaches that Americans are infidels and must be killed. Mr. President, why don’t you have the courage to call things what they are? You seem very sympathetic to Muslims. You won’t even slightly risk offending them, even at the risk of offending and harming the Americans you were elected to represent. When will you defend America and its citizens rather than coddling a known enemy? Now is not the time to be ‘politically correct’; you are risking all of our lives by not admitting that these are terrorist attacks, and that they have been carried out by Muslims. Take charge, Mr. President; crack down on this, don’t coddle. Profile if you have to; stop looking at so-called right wing extremists – that argument is as false as my grandpa’s teeth – start looking at the ‘religion’ that says we must die.

If you can’t or won’t, it’s time for you to step aside. I am fed up. I am overwhelmed. I hate what is happening in our country. The government has taken away our rights, little by little. They have taken our security. They have taken our backbone and strength. When is enough enough? I’ve seen t-shirts and such that say “Our Founders would be shooting by now”. They’re right. Our Founders didn’t stand for PC then and they certainly wouldn’t now. What a shame we’ve let them down in our fight to keep and maintain what they gave their lives for.
